The Studio was founded by Obakki's Treana Peake as a way of controlling the elements critical to any designer's brand.
Traditional factories often substitute quantity for quality, or have minimums to high for emerging designers to meet. Treana's vision was to have a place where talent – new or established – could meet and receive the same treatment while having access to the same quality product.
Treana believes in having a strong collaboration between designers and production teams, from concept to completion, and wanted to offer an entire range of services under one roof. The Studio is a place where designers, pattern makers, sample sewers and production teams collaborate daily on the same project, sharing a common goal of excellence.
